Spring for the remote trigger
We recommend replacing the throttle spring every 6 months. after salt water use using lanolin spray or Corrosion X on trigger can help prolong its life.
Note: All Boogies shipped since 1 February include a spare spring in the orange repair kit.
Includes 1 x Spring, and 1 x M3 screw to help remove the trigger shaft.
How to replace the Trigger Spring:

Remove the trigger screw

Use a 2mm Allen key to remove the small screw that holds the trigger in place.

A high-quality Allen key is recommended to prevent rounding the hex socket.

Extract the trigger shaft

Use the supplied M3 screw, tweezers, or a similar tool to carefully pull the trigger shaft out of the remote.

Caution: If the spring hasn’t broken yet, it may pop out suddenly—cover the trigger with your hand to catch it.

Inspect the shaft end

Check the end of the shaft to ensure the resin is flat.

The resin encapsulates a magnet and can swell over time, causing the trigger to stick.

If the resin is bulging, sand it flat.

If you see corrosion, contact support.

Install the new spring

Place the new spring into the trigger.

Push the trigger and spring back into the remote, aligning the holes.

Insert the throttle shaft.

Reinstall the screw
-
Fit the M2 screw back in place with a drop of blue Loctite (not red).

Recalibrate the trigger
-
Perform a trigger calibration after replacement to ensure correct operation.
