The Best Pod is No Pod...  but if you can't have a Boogie then this is the next best thing.  It's slicker than slick and zippier than zip. 

Printed in a single piece design using flexible Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), the StretchPod will never crack, break, or slip down the mast.  There is nothing to lose, no complicated latches to break and only the mast chord measurement is needed.  The cable guide is integrated into the design.

It uses about 200g of TPU filament so cost is about $6 per pod, and 15 hours print time.  Anyone that got a modern printer for xmas can print this.  

• It's as close to an integrated mast as you can get - for 1/100th of the cost
• Tapered masts work best - almost all modern carbon ones
• TPU is non conductive
• TPU does not mark your mast
• Integrated cable guide, tape still required.

Tool and hardware required:

• 4pcs M4x50mm stainless socket head screws
• 14pcs M4x45.  Pod works with 7, but stiffer with 14. 
• A 3mm ball nose Allen key set. 
• Preferably an electric screwdriver
• Insulation tap for the cable guide

Files:

Files are only $10 and any money will go towards development of surf life saving equipment using the Boogie Platform.  Here's a sample STL for a 120mm mast.

Print Settings:

• 95A TPU
• 10 walls, 50% infill.  Print should be about 200g.
• Tree Supports touching plate only
• Dry the TPU before printing. 
• Print time should be about 14H
• A 0.6mm Nozzle will reduce clogs.

We happy for other printers to on-sell this design with a reasonable usual markup, but please place an order for each StretchPod your print for your friends or customers.
